Just wondering what accuracy I can expect from a SIG 522. I'm hearing 2" groups at 100 yards. What about 150 and 200 yards? I know that's a lot to expect for a .22 so it's not going to be making a ragged hole or anything, but wondering all the same.

IMHO the best EDC lights on the market, even before you look at the diminutive price tag compared to, for example, Surefire. If those are too big or not quite what you want, try the other categories of Quarks on the left, like the...
The most common place by far is Switzerland. France, Isle of Man etc allow the ownership of handguns, but only by residents. Switzerland allows non-residents to buy and own guns (and handguns), so Britons can live and work in the UK and travel to Switzerland to practice.
For London 2012...
As far as I know the B-300/SMAW launcher itself is an original Israeli design. The sighting rifle is based on that used on the British LAW 80 though.
The basic (smaller, M72) LAW is an American design.
1) 5.56mm can still hit targets out to 400 yards
2) But this is what DMRs, snipers and...
In the UK you need to apply for permission to purchase each individual gun. For each gun you need to demonstrate a 'good reason' for wanting to possess it e.g. "1x .240 rifle, deer hunting," "1x .308 rifle, target shooting," etc.
Suppressors are treated the same as a firearm, so you apply for...
And to take the stopping power argument further, a 20mm rifle will mess you up a lot more than 308. You're not going to lug around a Denel NTW-20 though are you.
...in. 95% of what comes out the front of your weapon is being aimed in a direction, like "that building over there," "that treeline," or "that way *broad hand sweep*" not at a target, like "that man with a gun looking right at me." 95% of those that get killed die from something other than...
British forces have been increasing their firepower in Afghanistan with a much higher concentration of FN MAGs and Minimis replacing some of the L85s, and AG36 grenade launchers going on a lot of those that still go out. A British made AR10 has been adopted as something of a designated...

I've read in places that Alaskan pilots (at least when flying more than 20 miles and when not entering or exiting the state) are required to carry a gun in the plane.
Is this still the case and if so, could someone link me to the text of the law?
Thanks
I've seen Hushpower shotgun moderators used. Very quiet. Some attach to the end of the barrel so increase length and ruin balance, but others are integral and so don't increase overall length. However, they're bloody heavy! The moderator itself weighs the same as an AR15!
You can't shave regularly if you're in a small patrol base miles from anywhere with irregular supplies, where ammo comes first and razors last on the priority list.
British army you can't just grow a beard during normal down time or deployment, but if you're in the arse end of nowhere getting...
Not seen anyone post this, apologies if someone has.

Tragic of course. But also interesting. I don't want...
Most countries do have some form of legal gun carry for citizens. Heck, you can even get a permit to carry a concealed handgun in Britain! Of course, only politicians and a few people under threat from the IRA are able to get them. I think there's a few hundred nationwide, in a country of 60...
There are also a few Enfield L8 rifles knocking around, which are No.4 rifles of various marks converted to 7.62mm NATO by the British military. And of course the Ishapore 2A and 2A1 which is like a 7.62mm NATO SMLE. You could bubba an Ishy to put optics or better iron sights on it.
There's...
The Garand is simply a more technologically advanced rifle, designed almost 50 years after the original Lee-Metford design, and 30 years after the first Lee-Enfield.
For use in combat, I'd certainly take the Enfield over any other bolt action milsurp rifle. The Garand is a different breed of...
Image of British soldiers in Afghanistan from BBC. Note the British camouflage, helmets and SA80 in the background.
The body armour is the newer kind and the recently added foregrip on the SA80 narrows it down to being pretty recent (most likely it was taken within the past couple of days)...
I wouldn't buy from him, and he was unnecessarily rude but he does warn on his website that if you buy "cheap ****" you will get exactly that and to not expect a good knife for not much money which is more honest than a lot of sellers. The terms and conditions also state that all sales are final...
