Could you elaborate? I'm guessing that you mean any shorter and neck of the casing is at the part of the bullet that starts to curve into a cone and thus not enough tension to prevent seatback?
Is this considered bad? Granted he said he bought it for his brother's kids, but 14,500 rounds in 2 days, store hopping, and being sold cases of it, kinda seems wrong. Oh well, it's his $800+tax to burn. Goes to show the stuff IS available.

Thanks for all of your help guys. I managed to shorten my 1.180 loads to 1.135 and load another batch to the same. Sticking with my manual data for the first 1000 reloads. Figure by then all my stuff will have paid for itself in savings and I can get a chronograph to push hot loads. It is...
Isnt that still above SAAMI specs?

Unfortunatly I don't have a chrono
As for limp wristing, unlikely. I've never had a malfunction with factory ammo. I have only been shooting for a year, but never a FTE from factory loads.
New reloader here. I've spent weeks researching reloading and have made my first batch of rounds! But there are problems.
I am reloading 9mm 124gr bullets from Xtreme Bullets. These are total metal jacket (completely plated in copper and rated for 1500fps), round nose, heavy plate concave...
The double tap was just for fun. I wasn't expecting it to go anywhere but on the paper. Fundamentals have been explained to me. I'm stuggling with the trigger pull
I've gone down to 50 rounds per week now. I divide that time/ammo between 5 and 7 yards. I end up having 2 loose rounds that I...
