Is anybody making a semi auto reproduction of these ? Seems like it would be a fun range toy. I am in the National guard ( PA ) We are a stryker brigade so we have alot of guys that used to be tankers and talk about them every now and them, seems these little sub guns were'nt liked very much.
nice shootin ! i wish i could use my 10/22 for squirrels ( cant hunt with anything semi auto in PA ) i dont own a 22 rifle that aint semi so i gotta use my single six or the 12g, still fun though
Wow, congrats on your upgrades, And sorry for the insults you have recieved regarding YOUR choices, some of the replies this post has recieved do not seem very High Road in my opinion, Pgo's are a bit hard to handle, especially with buckshot ( slugs seem to hurt the wrists too ! ) but they do...
Hello, my family owns a machine shop and we have been thinking about getting an ffl and a license to manufacture firearms, i have also been thinking about possibly manufacturing suppressors also, now we have not started the process of doing all the proper paper work yet so my question is, does...
i would actually advise for your wife not to carry in her purse, What is the first thing the BG is gonna grab ? Run by purse snatching is also a common practice for thugs, i understand that it is somewhat difficult for women to carry concealed with a holster due to more form fitting clothes they...
Welcome to the highroad ! I get this too, mostly in a joking around manner though, my friends and family know i enjoy firearms and own quite a few and consider me a decent shot, i am a grunt in the pa national guard, and i have been into martial arts since i was a kid. So occcasionally one of...
My goal wasnt to deter people from purchasing guns online, this article was meant more towards a new shooter who may not know what to look for when purchasing a used firearm, when i get a chance i will edit the article a bit and give some info on asking the online seller the proper questions and...
thanks for checking it out, just out of curiosity has anybody ever had a problem buying a used gun online ? like i said in my article i have never done it because i cant inspect it first. I agree that are some great deals online but i have always been somewhat wary of buying something i cant...
Hi everybody, i do some writing for eHow every now and then and i just wrote an article giving advise to newbies for purchasing used guns, not trying to spam or anything , just figured i would share it over here.

let me know what ya's think
im thinking Ruger single six, there will also be many different companies making 1911's, AK's and 12g pumps, but i think the single six will still be the "Ruger" single six in 100 years
e-3
PA National guard (11B )
in for 1yr 3 months so far, havnt been deployed yet but soon,
m4 ( not much different than most AR 15s except for burst
SAW not as cool as i expected it to be lol
i've shot a little bit of everything and the MK19 is my favorite so far ! nothing like a full auto...
what armed bear said is true you cant beat a revolver for reliability if you get a faulty round you simply pull the trigger again ( or hammer for a SA ) reloads are a bit slower but 5 or 6 rounds should be plenty for most situations
in my expieriance most semi autos malfunction due to poor quality ammo and poor mainitence , i would recommend you test many different brands of ammo and see which is the most reliable in your pistol, but most quality autos are very reliable these days, i've got a cheap keltec p11 that eats...
dont have much knowledge of mountain lions but i would think that a high quality defensive 45 acp ammo like hydrashoks would be a decent choice, just make sure you practice with whatever ammo you choose to carry to make sure its reliable and accurate in your pistol
what about 2 Pistols ? a lightweight acurate 22 with a few hundred rounds for food, and a 357 or 44mag to defend against two and 4 legged threats, this setup probably would'nt weigh much more than a rifle with the right choices
