sorry to bring this old thread back, but does anyone know what kind of range i could expect from a .338 whisper? (the first type)
also, does anyone know what kind of range i could expect from the .510 whisper?
thnx

my sister used to flinch like that, even with spring powered airsoft guns. the trick is to be really patient, and let them play around with an unloaded gun for a while to get a feel for it. after a little while she will get used to it and begin to love it. the recoil, the bang, all that. i did...
a lot of you made good points as to why the .50 cal did not penetrate like the 9mm in their test. one reason, i think chipperman said also, is that the 9mm was taken at a steeper angle.
another reason, i think, is because the 9mm is rounded whereas the .50 is pointed, so the .50, at the angle...
well, i don't know how long you have been shooting, but it is always helpfull to go over the basic rules and stances of shooting to make sure you are doing everything rite. also, i don't know if you know this or not, but you may be flinching when you pull the trigger as a reflex to your knowlege...
well, i am not concerned with it being a bullpup, the dsr-1 is a bullpup. my concern is whether or not it would be too light. bacause if the rifle is too light, than there will be too much recoil.
hey everyone, so i'v been thinking about whether or not it is practical to make a .308 cal tavor. on the one hand, i think the tavor might be too light, so the recoil (or muzzle jump rather) would not be manageable. I know that the early m14 was too light to use .308's and the recoil was...
ok, so i posted about this before but i was talking to a freind earlier today who is a prosecution lawyer.
basically he suggested that you tell the administration about the situation and that you want the guy out of the school or they will be liable for any damages that may be inflicted on you...
worse than him attacking you in school is if he finds out where you live.
anyhoo, i'd suggest keeping an eye out to see what he does, yknow, find out if he's serious now or ju testing the waters to see what he can get away with.
also, i'd suggest learning some krave maga. it is great for...
haha, i was born and raised in flint and have lived in detroit (near 8 mile) for almost 7 years now.
and i only carry my la-griffe... ishould probly reconsider a carry weapon. haha
i have no idea about the nylons, but i can tell you for sure that there in no way to slick the rubber ones. rubber is just one of those materials that only gets stickier.
hey, my parents are moving to israel soon and need a good pistol. not for pocket carry, but for keeping it in the car.
basically they need a gun that will be quick to aim, fast follow up shots, and inflict as much shock and damage as possable, as fast as possable.
personally i think they...
not entirely. in here detroit 6 or more people in a group has a 50% chance of being a gang.
also, as to the original topic, try to take out the leader. most of the time one guy will be doing most of the fighting and the others will just help out. as soon as you take the main one out, the...
haha, yups... i unfortunately was not born is israel, but i'm moving there in about two years. so what about you?
for those of you who don't know israeli girls are really hot, like guns, are smart, and can shoot really well. in other words: everything you could ever want in a girl! :D
ok, this is from real life actually, but it's something you'd see in a movie.
guy walks into a bank with a mousegun and shouts "gimme tha money!" "i got a gun!!!"
the lady at the clerks dest looks him in the eye and as she pulls a .50cal desert eagle from under the desk she says "you call that...
i would suggest the bersa. it's a bit larger than others suggested, but you can aim it faster. whats the point in having a carry pistol if you can't aim it before you get shot?
sorry to double post, as for shooting through walls, if america wants to do really well they should adopt israels method of using the barrett .50bmg... i think your getting the picture hahaha.
