Can a pistol have two magazines?

I know this may be way out there. But, could a pistol feasibly be made with two magazines? What I'm imagining is something like a 9mm pistol with two side by side single stack magazines. You would be able to shoot until one was empty and it would switch over automatically to the other. Then you...

My Old Ruger GP100/I'm Losing Interest

I see that time coming someday. Even now I already I can say that my 50 year old hands and fingers get dry and cracked all the time. Loading magazines and racking slides isn't as easy as it used to be.

What was the first revolver you ever shot, and what was the first one you purchased?

    First I shot was a friend's .41 Mag about 30 years ago. I don't remember the make. First I bought was a S&W 637 about 5 years ago.

    Mini-30?

I remember a well known group of operatives (in the mid-80s I believe), that used the Mini as their go-to rifle on all their missions. To me, that's a solid vote of confidence. I pity the fool that thinks otherwise.

Have you ever dated an anti? How'd it go?

I didn't know their feelings at the time I was dating because I wasn't interested in guns or gun issues particularly. Then I met my wife and she was/is pro gun. Soon she started nagging me to get a gun - nag, nag, nag. Finally I did. Now I have a small, medium, and large safe full. Now lately...

    Marlin .35 Rem

Desertrat357 wrote: I don't know about brass, but getting new ammo is not too hard. It costs a lot, about 33 dollars a box of 20 at Cabelas. They don't have tons of it, but I've never heard of a run on .35 Rem like there is when they put out bricks of .22lr. So if you call them and they have...

    Marlin .35 Rem

I am still reading this thread daily from a quiet but interested perspective. It's great hearing your thoughts about this rifle which I formerly didn't know much about. I did have an inkling that putting a scope on a lever action would cause some frowns, so I was not disappointed in that.:D...

    shooting the moon

No air means no hearing protection and no suppressors needed. It would also be great for hunting, the prey could never hear you or smell you, so as long as you're not doing jumping jacks you're pretty stealthy.

    Marlin .35 Rem

I inherited this years ago but just now getting around to trying it out. Partly because the ammo costs a lot, and I figured the recoil would be too hard to really have much fun shooting it. It's about 50 years old, I believe, and the barrel is stamped 336RC. My eyes aren't so good for the iron...

I'm disappointed. I thought this thread was going to be about spraying PAM on firearms as a preservative/lubricant.

How and when does one know if a simple robbery is going to become more serious?

No, it's just a question, no implied assumptions. Opinions vary and change. Somebody might form a new opinion based on answers to the OP.

How and when does one know if a simple robbery is going to become more serious?

I was thinking about two recent events: 1) Local event: Two men, one with a knife, the other with a rifle, held up a convenience store. Took some loot and left, no one was injured. http://www.norwichbulletin.com/article/20150716/NEWS/150719652 2) In Detroit a gang of guys robbed a...
