Hi, I just removed the bluing on the bolt of my M24/47. The steel appears to be somewhat stained. What would you guys recommend I do to get the polished bolt look that many yugo 48's have? Any help would be appreciated.

I reassembled the bolt without the safety, and the gap was visible. I did a side by side comparison of my safety with the gap and am thinking of increasing the taper on the safety. Could you please explain what you mean by sear ledge/trigger sear tolerance issues? Thanks for the help.

I cleared some cosmo out of my bolt, and oiled it, but it still did not work. I also tried the pull back and up method which also did not work. Thanks for the suggestions though ill keep searching around for a solution.
