Realistic price for full size RR Uzi

I’m looking to buy a RR Uzi. What does everyone think a realistic selling price is? I see several vector full size guns listed in the 14k to 15k range but they all seem to be sitting. I’ve had two guys offer me their Vector full size for 12k and 12.5k. Timing was bad with the first guy (I had...

Scope, mount, and rings for a pre-64 Winchester

I was lucky enough to pick up a Pre-64 Winchester model 70 in .270 mfr'd in 1948. The gun currently has a front site and a small flip up rear site. I'd like to put a scope on it. Here's the issue. I want to put on a functional hunting scope but at the same time I'd like to put a scope on that...

    Akins Photos

They're making a mistake by overpricing it. If it was priced at say $400 to $500, there wouldn't be a market for another similar & cheaper device to be built. Possibly a chinese rip off, possibly something that deviates enough to not infringe on their patent, possibly just something people...

    Which .22 lever-action?

Does anyone know if there are any internet retailers that sell 39A's cheaper than wally world? I believe Wally world charges like $398 for them as a special order item.

    Electronic hearing protection

Awesome thanks! I'd really rather stay with something that uses AAA's as opposed to N size batteries. I believe the N's are more expensive. Does yours use 2 AAA's total or two per side?

    Electronic hearing protection

what model sordin's did you get and where did you get them if you don't mind me asking? also i understand they use AAA's as opposed to N size batteries like the Pro-ears. How long do the batteries in the Sordin's last?

    Electronic hearing protection

From what I've read the Peltor's and cheapers models cut out all audio when a loud sound comes up. On the other hand the Pro-Ears and Sordin's lessen the volume of the loud noise.

    Electronic hearing protection

Does anyone have experience with the Pro-ears and Sordin muffs? I'm thinking of getting one of the two. My budget is about $200. I definitely want something that doesn't cut out so I haven't included the peltors or any of the other brands. If someone knows of another brand that doesn't cut...

Tell me about the FN FNC!

"Saw cut is not demilled. To meet BATFE standards of being demilled, the reciever must be destroyed by a number of cuts (usually multiple cuts) that make it impossible to put back together. BATFE required it to be torch cut, and they specifically warn against saw cut. Each specific destruction...

Tell me about the FN FNC!

An unwelded A2 would be at 15K or more, depending on configuration. There's many fewer m16a2's in the registry as opposed to m16a1's/m16's/RR's/etc. Colt m16A2 - 15k or more Colt m16A1-m16 - 12.5K or more forged small hold registered receiver (like a Sendra and some Olympic Arms)...

Tell me about the FN FNC!

A reweld is much different than a rewatt. A rewelded receiver has been saw cut typically into two pieces. Someone (Stemple in this case) then used a jig to weld the two pices back together. In the case of a rewatt, someone usually plugs the barrel, welds the bolt into the chamber, etc. If a...

Does anyone have a Jewelry tray for their gun safe?

haha sistema 1927, that's funny. trust me there's been no jewelry purchases made around here for a long time... this is all older pre-gun stuff.

Tell me about the FN FNC!

If it were me this would be my order of preference.. m16A2 m16A1-m16 forged small hold registered receiver (like a Sendra and some Olympic Arms) forged large hole registered receiver (such as an SP1 lower) quality reweld (like a Norell or Stemple) cast registered receiver (like an...

Tell me about the FN FNC!

Almost forgot... another option is buying an FNC sear now (3K to 4K), then picking up an FNC host later (about 3K) and having S&H do the conversion ($600 last I heard). AFAIK Curtis is still doing conversions, make sure to verify if you're interested. More than likely, going this router would...

Tell me about the FN FNC!

You could get a registered receiver M16 for about 10K, maybe a little less if you hunt around for a good deal. I saw a forged one sell for about 9K recently. A genuine Colt M16/M16a1 is about 13K now with M16A2's running higher depending on the configuration... The M16 is a good option...

Does anyone have a Jewelry tray for their gun safe?

I'm looking for a jewelry tray to use for storing jewelry in my gun safe. Does anyone here have a solution that works well? Ideally I'd like something lined with felt or a similar material.

Tell me about the FN FNC!

Noticed that select fire FNCs were significantly cheaper than ARs and are gas piston guns as well. But first some questions. What sort of mags do they take? Special rare FNC mags or does it take AR mags or something else widespread? There are FNC mags out there. They are fairly expensive...

High Standard HD Military .22... good or not?

thanks a lot for the info... The S&W 41 sounds good but I'd imagine it's a little out of my price range. I'm hoping to stay more around the 350ish mark. I haven't really considered it but the guy also has a High Standard Supermatic Citation. Is this a better gun than the HD? From memory I...
