I'm looking for a jewelry tray to use for storing jewelry in my gun safe. Does anyone here have a solution that works well? Ideally I'd like something lined with felt or a similar material.

I just got a usual run of the mill jewelry box. Felt lined. Surely they still make them. Ask next time you go to a store like Wal-mart to see if they have one.

Check with a jewelry display dealer. They have trays sized for safes and lined with velvet, with and without partitions.

I like the tackle box idea. After all, men use jewelry as lures, no?

    ;) :D :neener:

    Who can afford jewelry?

All of my disposable income goes towards guns. "Honey, for your birthday here is a nice Colt....."

haha sistema 1927, that's funny. trust me there's been no jewelry purchases made around here for a long time... this is all older pre-gun stuff.

My wife sells it. Its typical MLM like Mary Kay, etc, but the pay and structure blows all those away. Anyways...that's how she carries her's to shows to display. Its fashion jewelery, so its not overly expensive, but I'm bugging her to get a big safe for both the jewelery and my guns.

If you leave the jewelry out in the open where burglars can find it immediately they might not try to break into the safe to get the valuables. ;)

Doesn't bother me a bit. I never have to buy my wife jewelery, and she's making as much money as me. If we weren't paying off bills and trying to move I'd have a few new guns.
