Recovering from shoulder surgery and want to load some light loads using 158 gr FMJ bullets with Bullseye powder. I've heard a good starting point is the
max load for .38 special +10%. Neither my Lyman or Speer books show a
.38 load for FMJ/158 gr using Bullseye. I can find 158 gr LSWC data...
Lyman's indicates 1.075" for the coal for 125 JHP's in 9mm. This seems
a bit on the short side to me. I normally load 124 FMJ RN to 1.135", but
I ran out. All that remains in the room is 125 JHP, and I have no experience with this bullet. Any advice would be appreciated.
Is there any truth to the statements made by Phoenix State University's
statements that certified reloaders can purchase reloading components
at wholesale prices? Their online course costs $99 for a couple weeks
of email classes, and awards a certificate to those completing the course...
Just found out the hard way that the rod that connects the upper and lower powder assemblies can wiggle loose. It is attached with a thumb screw that over time loosens. When the rod is no longer attached, powder does not
drop. Probably not too big a deal if you are using and watching the...
