I have a PM40 and my dad has the PM9. Mine has over 1000 rounds down the pipe and no malfunctions. My dad has roughly 500 down the pipe in his PM9 with no problems. I will say this though, the PM9 is a little more controllable when practicing doubletaps. I feel I can get back on target...
Another vote for the Glock 29. I have one and rides with me on every hunt, hike, scouting trip in a Wilderness Tactical holster. Plenty of power and capacity for what your looking for. The reason I bought the gun was for use as an all around outdoors sidearm.
Most hideous firearm I have ever laid eyes on. A buddy of mine has one. Don't know about the reliability but I would save up a few more bucks and get yourself a used glock. If you search around long enough, you can find some good deals.
The gun on the left does not look like a Kahr. I'm looking at my Glock 29 and Kahr PM40 and the gun on the left is not a Kahr. What type of Kahr do you claim this to be? Looks more lime a Ruger LCP.
If Glocks are so bad, then why do over half of the police departments in the United States carry them? Use factory ammo and no lead cast bullets and you'll be OK.
Pierce grip extension will take care of the pinky problem. Just installed one on my PM40 and Glock 29. Makes shooting more manageable. My Dad just bought a Kahr PM9. If I had to do it all over again, I probably would have opted for the PM9 over the PM40 if I was able to shoot them before I...
I work in a medical/hospital setting everyday of the work week. Concealability is paramount in this type of environment. My Kahr PM40 rides with me everyday in a Crossbreed MiniTuck. Most concealable handgun I own. The gun is only covered by an undershirt and polo style shirt, tucked in...
Doesn't matter if a gun won't be a collectors item to an individual. The market dictates a collectors item.
By the way, I just picked up a new Glock 29 in OD green last night. OD green is only available from what's already out in circulation.
I have a PM40 and the recoil is not bad at all. A buddy of mine just bought a P45 last weekend, not bad shooting either. The CW has a full length grip so it shouldn't be bad either. One thing that's nice about the Kahr's is that they are very concealable. I can speak from experience. I work...
Kind of off the subject, but I really miss Sportsmans Warehouse. We had one here in Pittsburgh, PA but it went out of business two years ago when they filed for bankruptcy. Oh well, maybe they will re-open a store again someday around here.
