    DAK vs. DA/SA?

I have both a DAK 229 and a traditional DA/SA 229. Both are in 40. The DAK pull is 6.5 and is sweet smooth and easy to shoot. Of course I grew up shooting DA revolvers and the DAK trigger system is like every revolver shooter's dream. As for the DAK being fragile, I don't understand that...

    Sig Trigger

I do not like the DA pull on the 226, it seems too long, but I am a huge fan on the 229 DA pull. The slightly smaller frame makes for a better DA pull in my opinion. It is possible that a police armorer modified your sig, but more likely than not the DA pull came from the factory like that...

    CZ75 Versus Beretta 92FS/M9

I have the cz 75b, the beretta 92fs and the Browning hi-power. They are all excellent guns and no matter which one you buy you will be happy. The cz is the heaviest of the three and for me has the best grip angle. The cz can be carried cocked and locked like the browning or with the hammer...

J Frame grips with larger backstraps?

Altamont grips make some beautiful wooden grips for the same price range as the pacmayers, though I do like pacmayers.

Do I really need any other caliber than 9mm?

I think a 9mm is fine. i would add a .22lr or a conversion kit for your Glock 19 but I would not worry too much about getting a bigger caliber. Of course, you will be missing out on some classic guns and calibers but everything is a trade off.

FMJ vs JHP for self defense

I choose hollow point for self defense because it reduces the chances of over penetration and of ricochet. The fact that it may expand and might be a better stopper is nice but is not a prime consideration.

They plain work all of the time. They are light, accurate and have good ergonomics.

    EDC Picture Thread!

No pictures but I carry a single handgun -usually a Smith model 649 or a 2.5" model 66 and one speed loader- Sometimes I will carry a Beretta 92fs with no extra ammo as my daily carry. I always have a simple single blade pocket knife with a sub" blade, a pen light and my cell phone.

    smith and wesson mod.637

It is an easy to carry firearm that will serve you well as a daily carry piece. Because it is light weight it will have a bit more felt recoil than an all steel j-frame. Also j-frames, because of their light weight and small grips, require some practice with in order to shoot proficiently...
