I have noticed the actor that plays Dr Reid always wears a huge side arm. How he covers it, I have no clue. The Dr Reid guy is rather tall and slim. I have seen him packing full size Glocks and S&W 686's. They just seem to be to large to be concealable pistols on this actor.

I know its a TV show, but jezzzz.

Maybe a lesson to all us folks who CCW. The gun must flow with the body, and not stick out.

Far as I can see, he doesnt try to conceal it.

Assuming I am thinking of the same guy, he carries holstered in an appendix position, possibly crossdraw.

Dr. Reid is the man. Everything he does is right. Not really adding to the conversation, but that show is great. But yea, I've seen in one or two of the episodes someone will actually comment on it in the show. Funny stuff.

The other thing is, he always carrys with the gun in a paddle holster at 2:00 O'Clock.
While it is slapping him silly flopping around every step and getting in the way.

It must be a costume thing to draw attention to his supposed unfamiliatarity and distain of weapons.

Just finished watching the show. Reid carries some odd ball guns but heck he kinda plays a oddball. Yes a 686 at 2 o'clock isn't going to conceal worth a darn. Just enjoy the show and don't read to much into it.

I stand corrected. Dr. Reid is skinny and small. A cheese burger is a great idea.
Perhaps Dr. Reid is on the Karen Carpenter diet.

Did you know, if Mama Cass had shared her ham sandwich with Karen, they would both be alive today?

Why the pistol flops around, my only guess is an improper belt.

It should remind all us CCW folks to wear a proper belt to hold the firearm close to the body.

i would guess that if it is "concealed" then he probably isnt even wearing the holster. he probably only wears it when it is to be seen. after all its tv.
