My wife is transcribing a court case about a bolt action single shot 22 rifle and the lady on the tape called it a "cuey" This seems to be the brand, but I can't find anything that sounds like that. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, Mine hinges forward after pulling a knob that is built into the rear sight. With this knob up, you operate another release on the side. The 5 shot cylinder has an ejector that raises then falls after the barrel is hinger all the way forward to reload. It is a double action...
I agree about the Ruger Single Six, I keep the Mag wheel in mine almost all the time. It is accurate enough for squirrel, and other varmints at reasonable range and so much fun to shoot.

I was just given, by the widow of a Pinkerton Agent, a S&W 38, 5 shot flip open revolver with a 4" barrel. The patten #s on top run from 1896-1906.
The serial # on the rounded butt are 3350, then 399 is upside down.
