I also have a CW45. Curious about your magazine discussion. I had read that some 1911 mags worked with modification. Do the ones you mention work 100% without any tooling or modification? If so, I might buy out a store of them this afternoon.

Will the Hogue Bantam Grips for a S&W J Frame fit the Taurus 85? If not, is there anything similar that's halfway decent? Edit: The Hogue monogrip just doesn't do it for me. It ends up sticking over the backstrap (for lack of a better term) by like 1/16" when I put it on per the instructions.

Have the exact same setup on mine. Couldn't be happier about the decision to go with the Game Reaper (matter of fact, I've bought several more of their rings/bases for other rifles as well). I have a 3-9x40 Zeiss scope on my T3, and it's been rock solid from day 1.

I suppose my question really surrounds whether or not the faster twist (1:8) would not stabilize the light weight bullets. Meaning, what if I want to shoot the whole spectrum? As in, use it for both coyotes and as a backup (with the proper rounds) deer rifle.

If you can get a rifle in multiple twist rates (in this case, a T3 Lite in .223 with a twist rate of 1:12 or 1:8), why would you ever go for the slower rate (1:12)? I suppose if I know I'll only be shooting lighter bullets, maybe it would be ok, but if all the variables of cost are the same...
