And btw, we have three Police officers in our family......they should be equipped with the newest and most advanced weaponry available.
You sir sound more like a wannabe......grow up and live with your ten-round magazines or MOVE! Pa, Ga, etc, etc all have no magazine restrictions.
Most of my shooting is limited to 10am until 4pm. Plus, since retired, I usually shoot during the week and keep the weekends quieter for the neighbors.
When our herd is visiting, 500 - 1k rounds is typical.....especially for our annual Pa Pumpkin Carvin'!
Folks that put their nose in the air about HiPoints haven't had one and/or none-to-little experience with one. They work and if it doesn't they make it right!
AK's are slow so 300 - 400 RPM's is about right for an experienced bump-firerer (sp??).
My AR 5.56 with a 3.5# trigger has been timed at 525 - 550 RPM.
Our AR 15/22 and same trigger hits 600 - 650 RPM (sometimes faster with CCI). Much faster than that and jams are frequent and cases blow from...
Mine are good carrys.....when I'm in a .45 mood. Usually though, I'll carry a PM45 or Shield .45.
My 1911 3" are Kimber UCII, Colt Defender....the next is a RRA 3.5" and then a Springfield Champion 4". Everything else is 4-1/4" (two) and a herd of 5".
AR pistols could fill a lot of needs and, since rescending the silly shoulder bans on forearm braces, can be very handy and practical.....top - 7.62 x 39mm, bottom - 5.56
Mine is flawless and very accurate.....I use it to cull g/hogs when necessary.
A good friend of mine and a top-notch gunsmith, made the forend and muzzle brake before he lost his eyesight.
I've carried it on my tractors a few times but the .45 HiPoint carbine is my usual rider and, once out of...
I had a blued one but traded it off because of ammo concerns (2009). I wish I still had it but I think the .338 ME has a better chance of survival over the long haul.
Yep, thats what we did!
This is my 58 Morris Minor. My dad drove it as a daily driver from Mt Vernon - Pentagon - Mt Vernon....in uniform.....got a lot of stares!
(Just an fyi here.....take note of the interior; faux leopard seat covers my mom made as her contribution.....she called it "the bomb")
^^+10. Way too many folks look at magazines as just a ammo holder. Mags need maintenence/cleaning AND load those mags, set those springs, and start exercising the firearm as Jeb Stuart describes.
Way too many firearms go from the box to the range.
Great! There's a good thread a few back about a 9mm. Strange looking and heavy, they deserve kudos for a great blowback.
I can't complain about mine and the .45 carbine, mounted on my tractor, is as much a firearm as it is a ugly heavy bat! (I think I got a large g'hog because he hesitated and...
