    Please check this 9mm load

Just shot this last night. Quite happy with the load, very accurate and no signs of high pressure. I'll back it down to 4.1 just to get it within new load data.

    Please check this 9mm load

Thank you. Like I said I'll report back later this week.

    Please check this 9mm load

Thank you for that. So the load is towards the upper end but not out of bounds. My concern is with oal. Seems like mine is slightly shorter than the tested. I'll chrono a few and see where they land.

    Please check this 9mm load

    That's from Reloader's Reference 9.3

    Please check this 9mm load

I see imr data says 4.7 under a 115gn jhp.

    Please check this 9mm load

I just wanted someone to double check this load. I have 115gn plated rn bullets over 4.3gn of 700x with an oal of 1.13. Anyone see any issues?

Any running a Mr. BF in Station 3 on a Hornady LNL AP Press (FIXED!)?

Slightly OT but related. If you're running a bullet feeder die, do you run a powder through expander? Reason I ask is because I really like using the powder cop and don't want to give that up to put the bullet feeder on. The only way to have enough space would be to run the powder through...

    Safe light switch

Normally closed pressure switch comes to mind. Or something like these http://www.smarthome.com/7113/SECO-LARM-SM-200Q-WH-Surface-Mount-Magnetic-Contact-Switch-Normally-Closed/p.aspx Sent from my TF300T using Tapatalk 4

    Best price for LNL AP

Buy one used. I recently bought a whole setup and after I sold off what I didn't need, I paid 200 for the press with 4 sets of dies, shell holders, brass, and bullets. So there are deals out there, just keep your eyes open. Sent from my TF300T using Tapatalk 4

How do you like the trigger on that ruger? I keep going back and forth between this and a 686/586

Loading In A House With Children (Lead Exposure)

Did you shoot indoors? Tumbling ammo wouldn't release much dust.

Loading In A House With Children (Lead Exposure)

The main concern for lead is that which is in the primer. They are made with lead styphanate. Elemental lead is not very easily absorbed and needs to be inhaled or swallowed to have any effect. That being said, it has a cumulative effect and builds up in your body. I might be overly cautious...

How many rounds does it take?

20000 rounds through a glock is just getting warmed up. Replace the springs and go. Glock has a lifetime warranty and will rebuild it if anything fails.

    Reloading question

My original post in this thread was made against this comment and it got derailed from there. I was just alluding to the fact that 147 can ONLY have the lowest recoil impulse IF the force (F=MA) is less than any other weight. This led into a discussion on acceleration (how pressure affects...

    Reloading question

You're wrong and when I get home I'll post a few sources to disprove you. Just because a powder is slower burning does not mean the bullet is going slower or faster. 40kpsi is 40kpsi regardless of powder used. The pressure of the gasses compressed in the chamber accelerates the bullet. Those...

    Reloading question

I'm trying to convey to you that changing the charge OR bullet weight will affect recoil. Recoil is a force. Force=mass x acceleration The acceleration comes from the pressure formed behind the projectile by burning powder. Please explain to me how a load with identical weight as another but...

    Reloading question

Unless we're operating with different rules of physics, f=ma So if you bump up the weight, it's effectively the same thing as increasing pressure with a smaller bullet.

    Go Time! Purchasing First Press

Agreed. The bang for buck with Lee products is unmatched in the reloading industry. That's why I get worked up when people start bashing their products and lodge complaints against them (most likely due to user error in the first place). I have loaded using dies from most of the major...

    Go Time! Purchasing First Press

Maybe I'm just a negative person but I feel with some of these threads, it's the blind leading the blind. People who have been reloading for a few months or less giving advice/input on it. I'm sure you guys have opinions and you might have some valuable insight, but maybe it's not always...
