How much eye relief is enough for an M91/30 pu style scope?

Hi all, i'm looking for some decent ammo for my m91/30, but here in New Zealand the selection is very limited, so my choices are; Barnaul fmj 185 grain, Barnaul sp 203 grain, Sellier and Bellot sp 180 grain and Hungarian silver/yellow tip milsurp. Any recomendations would be appreciated. thanks
