Sent an E-mail to traditionsfirearms.com asking if they sold the gripframe and or stock for the Gold Rush separate and if it would require major modification to fit to a M1851.
I probably could shape my current grip into a birds head, but I don't much like them.
It is very nice, but I just don't have the money at the moment, and if I did I'd probably buy a stock for my M1851 instead.
I am looking for the grip frame type in the attachment, I know it is some derivative of the 'birds head'.
I have seen it on 1860(1) models, but when I try to find them via Google I can only seem to find them for later cartridge guns.
