not neccesarily....although rifle rounds are much higher velocity and carrying more force if using frangible or highly expanding rounds i would propose that a layer of sheet rock on the wall would be nominally enough to set the bullets properties into action and the second provide a backs...

well 800 foot pounds is what is commonly required for expanding bullets to work so 1000 ft-lbs at 500 yards should be plenty acceptable for my uses...you mentioned the 7MM-08 do you know how that compares to the .260 for just long range paper punching(distance) that is this rifles main use is...

idk im partial to shiner blonde and blue moon....no matter how i get those they find a way of bypassing the glass and shooting right down to my stomach

best bet is to remove the bolt and shine a light down the barrel or inspect it looking up at a light....as for checking the action, cycle it to see that it feels good, not too sloppy not too stiff cycles well, if you could also try this with new models thatd make it easy to tell

finally! a way to achieve that illusive sub MOA pour and consistently close up my foam grouping lol
