Coverage of the Erik Scott Candlelight Vigil at the Summerlin Costco in Las Vegas, NV

I frequent that Costco and have open carried there at least once a week for the last 2+ years. There were never any signs before and nobody ever made issue of it with me. As for the link you posted, the last I checked, Las Vegas was in NV, not AZ.

Coverage of the Erik Scott Candlelight Vigil at the Summerlin Costco in Las Vegas, NV

By "posted" do you mean signage about not carrying in the store? If so, yes, those signs were added after this incident. As far as NV law, I'm not sure exactly what your question is.

Review: Osprey International 4-16×50 AO Scope TA41650MDG

"I was fortunate to have 702Shooter.com loan me this Osprey International TA41650MDG Scope for testing, I promptly mounted it on my Remington 788. The scope came with picatinny rings, but I replaced them with my own as the accompanying rings were a bit high for my bolt gun. I have no doubt they...

    Bentwood Gunsmithing

Matt Babb has been working with firearms since he was 14 years old so it’s no surprise that he would open a gunsmith shop as part of his pursuit for the “American Dream.” When you find a business owner who truly enjoys the work they do, you typically find them in high spirits. Bentwood...

Det. Gordon Martines Running for Clark County Sheriff Answers Gun Related Questions.

He's all for it. Unfortunately he did kinda lump them into 1 with open carry but he does specifically discuss using CCW funds exclusively for CCW projects.

    Face to Face transfers

I've been calling the local Sheriff's office to check S/N's for a number of years now and have never had my request turned down or questioned.

    Turning in a Stolen Gun

Not sure how you feel about open carry but it's perfectly legal in Las Vegas. I open carry most days. As far as CCW goes, I don't know where you are but do the permits from any of your surrounding states also cover NV? Final option is to take a CCW class and apply for a permit the next...

Give the guy a break. He's here to ask a question because he's concerned. Instead of busting his balls, try educating him.

what would you have done in this situation?

Eggs are good. We are talking about high school kids, not 2nd graders. "most others" would sit there and talk trash. Very few people would take any action other than running their mouths. Unless the kids were about to be killed, I'd finish my eggs before they were cold.

Do You Share Your Firearms at the Range?

All the time. Recently I saw an 11 year old boy who was afraid of his Dad's guns at the range and would not touch them. The Mother was telling him everything would be OK but the kid was clearly scared of the perceived recoil. I started talking with the family and explaining how an AR15...

    Turning in a Stolen Gun

I can handle the heat with the help from my pool and the 3 giant A/C units on my roof. It's the $600-$700 power bills that I could do without. There are a number of great shooting locations here though including a sick new shooting park that is run by the county. I'm not going to drop another...

    Turning in a Stolen Gun

Absolutely. Truth be told, the gun was in better shape when I turned it in than it was when I got it. I tried turning in the magazine too but they didn't want that so maybe I can recover a couple bucks by selling the mag....But wait, I know it's stolen too so that would be selling stolen...

    CCW question about gun...

Going to court would be the least of my concerns if/when I need to use a gun. That being said, I doubt any court would care if the guy was shot with a .22 or a .45 as at the end of the day the outcome is the same. Somebody got shot and the same outcome would have happened no matter what gun I...

    Turning in a Stolen Gun

Thanks for the warm welcome. :) Unfortunately the gun I had to forfeit was a Sig P228, not a Rossi. :( I'd say the chances of me getting it back are 0.

    CCW question about gun...

I'm trying to think why it would matter as the bottom line is you should know how to handle ALL of your firearms but especially the one you carry. However, none of that has anything to do with which one you choose to qualify with. As a personal preference, I would choose to qualify with my...

    Turning in a Stolen Gun

Hello everybody. Since this is my first post here and I do not want you to think I am simply doing a drive by spam, I think I will take a moment to explain why I am posting the link I intend to post here. I recently had to turn in a gun, I had owned for a number of years, because I found out...
