    Where the shells deformed in any way? A good cleaning and lube might fix things. There's not too many things that can go wrong on the 870.

    I would have expected them to keep the $5 fee for the background check. Most of the LGS's I deal with just factor that into the price, so you don't feel like you're being nickeled and dime'd at checkout. But, I know its factored in.

    S&W M&P pistols

    The ergonomics of my M&P are great, however, the trigger is a little spongy out of the box. It did get better after a few hundred rounds and a few hundred more dry fires.

    Online ordering- crazy freight charges

    Sometimes you have see if the LGS price is less than the total cost of buying it online. Often my gun store price is a few dollars more than the online price, but after you add shipping & handling charges it's a lot cheaper.

    Why would one choose 8 pellet 00 over 9 pellet?

    Typically, the 00 with 9 pellets are .32 cal. each. Do the 8 pellet shells use .32 cal. pellets or are they a larger caliber?
