Has anyone tried to put the new SIG SAUER E2 grip panels on a standard model
P226? I have read that the new P226E2 has a smaller grip and I wonder if the panels will fit the standard pistol.
The serial number on the 1970's model 336 is right up next to the tang screw. Actually it would need a sight base about 1 1/2" long to clear the number.
I need a little help about a Marbles Tang sight.
If I install the recommended Marbles Tang sight on my 1970 model Marlin 336, I will drill and tap a hole in the middle of the serial number. I can't do that. I will go to jail for altering the serial number of a firearm.
