Will the Ruger Mark II magazines fit the Mark III ?
And will the 3s fit the 2s?

A MkII 22/45 mag will fit a MkIII(not 22/45) if you change the base plate--a new base plate is $2.50---since the original 22/45 was set up for the thumb release already--the base plate change is so the mag will fit in the hole.

MkIII mags WILL fit in a MkII since the heel catch of the MkII doesn't care if the MkIII mag is set up for the thumb release or not.

We're talking MkIII (not 22/45) pistols in both instances. The mag bodies are the same size regardless of the base plate(22/45 vs MkIII) or series(MkII vs MkIII)--the main thing for the MkIII it that the mag has the cutout for the thumb release---the MkII doesn't matter because of the heel release.
