Well it looks like Griz got it. The picture was most helpful. They are definitely long ( 1 5/8" ). Since I have upwards of 100 or more and no single shot pistols I guess I"ll have to look at selling them. Bummer. Was hoping they would work in my Redhawk.

It doesn't seem like this is the case. These are just the capsule only. They are pretty long so I'm thinking they may be for 45 but the guy who had them only had a 44Mag so its confusing. I'll have to try to take a pic and post it.

I have a bunch of shotshells that are a red molded plastic and appear to be either 44Mag or 45 Colt. I can't find reference to them anywhere and I would like to find load data etc or sell them if I can't use them. Can anyone shed some light on these? Thanks. lw
