    Anyone ever shoot a bullpup?

Have one in a rifle a Bushmaster 177 and a pistol a Bushmaster Arm Gun. Both are .223 and the triggers are horrendous to lighten. Bought them for their looks more than their utility. The pistol is a scream to shoot. Nothing is more fun on a bright sunny day is getting a two foot flame...

Why is the Anaconda referred to as the most accurate .44?

Compared to what other gun. A buddy of mine has a Ruger Blackhawk single action. That gun is extremely accurate. There some very accurate guns out there. I also depends on what ammunition is being used. I'm a Colt guy BTW and I love my Python.

    Any S&W collectors out there

My friend has a S&W Nickle 10-5 38. Special. It has Detroit Police marked on the strap. I would rate it's condition between 90-95%. Any idea of it's value?

Sources Tell FOX News N.Y Gov. Eliot Spitzer Will Be Indicted, Resign Over ...

I guess we pay him too much money. The Hookers were charging up to $5500 an hour. We have $5500 in pocket money to blow on a Hooker.

    $120 ammo at GM?

And I thought $525 for a case (500 rounds) of 300 WM Federal Gold Medal was expensive 5 years ago. That works out to $21 per box. With today's prices you definitely have to reload.

Accuracy of Spring Field M1A Loaded

There are some good M1A smiths out there that can tighten up your groups for a few bucks. A well made M1A set up right with a medium to heavy factory barrel should be able to shoot 1.0 to 1.5 MOA with Match Ammunition.

    HK91, M1A, or FN FAL?

The down side of the HK is has this 10lb bolt that slams into you every time you pull the trigger. The other pain in the butt problem is if you reload you will hate the gun. It chews up your brass and spits it out with full length grooves burned into the case. Don't get me wrong I like my HK...

Please help choose a scope for a .308 Rem. 700

The biggest mistake most people make is they buy more optical power then they need. Example you buy a 6.5 by 20 when a 3 by 9 would be a better choice. If the gun is a target gun then go with the higher power but if this is a hunting rifle lower the magnification.

    24 inch vs 20 inch

Ideally a 26 inch barrel would be the best for the 3006 or .308. But since you are specifying a 20" or 24" barrel go with the 24"

    What makes M1A/M14 so expensive?

Quality rifles or guns in general cost money. Most of the posters before have explained it one way or another why the gun in general is expensive. I bought my SA Super Match back in 1988. It cost me $1800 back then. With inflation that gun would cost in today's money about $3,300.

    Varmint Rifle Advice

You could go a couple different ways on this. AR-15 and I agree 20 or 24 inch barrel with the flat top. I would also get a barrel float tube (Free floats the barrel) and a good aftermarket trigger. Should get you .75 MOA or better with quality ammunition. Or you could go with a good bolt...

    super rare german rifle

I remember a local gun shop had a Walther 2000 counter sniper rifle. The owner was over in Germany and brought it back with him because it was unique. Price $3995. I thought about buying it but thought it was a wee bit expensive. It sat there for probably 2 years before someone out of state...

    Ammo Shortage/Prices

Real inflation is running about 50% above the Government figures. They have been cooked since at least the late 80's. Billy Jeff made an art out of the process. GW saw a good thing and continued the funny numbers game. They say we have 4.5% inflation? Try the real inflation is running closer to...

Mini-14: now with factory hicaps for us serfs

Gee I paid $325 back in 1996 for my stainless and it came with two 20 round magazines. I don' think it is going sell at that price. $1000 plus is a little hard to swallow for a Limited Mini 14.

Are Remington 40X rifles worth the premium price?

$2600 isn't bad for a factory custom shop rifle. Remember that $2,600 includes a 15% federal sporting tax. So actual cost without that tax is $2,250. I'd like to know where some of you are getting all this cheap high quality custom work done on your guns ? I will add what is coming...
