Yes, it has happened with both of my magazines. Also yes, it does this only after "firing" the last round only, although I have not actually tried manually cycling the last round without firing in order to see if the magazine would drop. I'll try rimfire central as well, & I'll check...

Yes they did! Thanks, I was going to pm you about them today. The letter arrived with a small hole in it and one screw. One must have torn out in transit. One is all I'll need to do the job though. Thanks again. I probably won't get to installing it till winter break.

Thanks ms6852. An update to my previous post. I simply had to loosen the rear hex screw on the scope mount and the slide worked fine. It was only when I tightened it down all the way that the slide was pinched. Although the locking washers do a good job of keeping the screw from loosening...
