I have both. 910 is a single stack. 6906 is a double. Basically the same size. I have over 25 handguns. These are at the top of the list. Just buy the 6906.
I recently got into the 3inch sub compact nine addiction. A quest to find my favorite. Within a month I have purchased and shot a Kimber solo; a sig p290; a kahr pm9.
Kimber solo - I love to look at this little pisser. The aesthetics are stunning. But I sent it back to Kimber today because...
I have 2 SP-101s. A 357 and a 327. Factory loads for the 327 are impossible to find right now. I have only fired about 20 rounds of Federal American Eagle 100 grain loads through it so far. Compared to my 357 with 158 grain Hydashocks I'd say the 327 recoil felt like about half the 357. Quite...
I couldn't contain my excitement when I saw the new model 60 pro series. I knew it had a lock and I ordered it anyway. Now this is a nice revolver ! Even with the lock. $560 NIB +tax. I'm not happy about the lock, but I'm happy with the purchase.
I got mine and had to replace the mag release after shooting it the first time. No problem. I called Kahr and they sent me a new release and it has been very reliable ever since. 3 years and 1200 round later- still no hiccups. :)
I have an old model vaq sherrifs model (3.75" barrel)in 45 and have the cowboy bug. Now I am lusting for a new Montado in .357 mag. What do you think the chances of Ruger making these sometime soon ? Currently they are only offered in 45.
I took it out this morning and ran 50 rounds through it. My load of 5.5 grains of Trail Boss under a Berry 250 grain plated RNFP shot to point of aim at 15 yards. These chronod at 610 fps. I shot some other factory loads of 200 gr LRNFP that chronod at 700FPS. They printed low and right. I had...
Jim, this is the normal grip in .45 colt. The shop owner really didn't want to discount it from $425. I said it was as much as a new Vaquero and he kept saying that this was the Sherrif's model. I thought it was more desirable. I buy alot (too much) business with him so he softened and I am the...
So there I was, minding my own business, when I heard this old model sixgun calling my name. I don't know that much about Vaqeros but I'm learning a little as I go. This is an old model with what measures about a 3 3/4" barrel. I think it's called a Sherrif's model ? Love at first sight...
I looked at both of the rifles you asked about for my young grandkids. I picked the Henry for it's nice hi-viz front site and because I like stainless with a black synthetic stock. I think I paid about $160 3 years ago.
I've been looking at these lately and I am impressed. I am intrigued by a Titanium slide. The problem is that I don't see them listed on the Taurususa web site. I just see the blue and stainless slides listed. Are the Ti slides discontinued ? I think they are only 2 ounces lighter for a $100...
A timely thread. I just traded my savage 116 vssf .223 with a 26 inch barrel for a new Tikka Stainless varmint. I haven't had a chance to shoot the Tikka yet. Maybe tomorrow. The savage was probably the most accurate rifle I've ever had. It would shoot just about any load under 1/2 inch...
Thanks Koke ! That's what I was thinking. It's similiar to the XD. It just has second strike capability. I was hoping they were made with a decocker...
Is there any way to get a round in the chamber of a new DA/SA Millenium Pro without it being SA on the first shot ? It seems to me that by pulling back the slide to get the first round chambered that the weapon would always be SA, unless it missfired, in which case it has DA second strike ability.
