INDY "1500" Gun & Knife Show

I went today (Saturday), still very crowded. The show was supposed to be in the Blue Ribbon Building instead of the smaller building where it was. Oh well, found a nice Bulgarian Mak in 9X18, two mags and a holster.

    quick C and R question

These guns are not logged into your bound book, only guns acquired after recieving your C&R 03 FFL license and only the firearms that qualify to be C&R. Modern firearms are not entered into the bound book. C&R 03 FFL is one of the best deals out there, $30.00, it's good for three years, have...

Dissapointing gunshow in ft wayne IN.

albanian, It is getting to the place where finding a "deal" at the gun show is almost impossible, but there are some deals to be had, usually at the larger shows like the "Indy 1500" where there is more competition between the dealers. The next "1500" is January 13,14,15.

Am I reading this thing right?

I would start out with 90 grains of Pyrodex see how it does, but load no more than 100 grains of Pyrodex. Anything over 100 grains is probably not burning all the way before leaving the muzzle. You could also try some Tripple7 or Clean Shot instead of Pyrodex and like "mec" posted black powder...

Time to start thinking about what I'm going to carry.

Just my two cents, but if I were you I would get a handgun that's easy to carry and one you can afford to take to the range without the .22 conversion kit. The .22 conversion kit will not help you when shoot .45acp or 9mm. carolinaman has some good advice trying out different rental guns...
