3D Printed Liberator Pistol: Video, more angles, loading detail

This gun has been tested and functioned just fine. We shouldn't be disparaging someone who is trying to further firearms technology and metaphorically 'flip the bird' to the feds at the same time.

What was the best GUN present/surprise you ever got?

My best friends grandfather gave me an unfired NORINCO MAK-90.

Would a semi auto version of a Mac10 or something in similar size be NFA?

MP5 and SP89 'pistols' are just that; pistols. In the configuration the manufacturer ships them to the dealer, they are Tile 1 items. No different from, say, a Glock.

    American Made

I meant as a percentage of those that were imported. Ford and Chevy pumped out tens of millions of pickup trucks and the like, so of course they will be seen more frequently. A Honda from 1975 is more likely to still be on the road than a Chevy made in the same year. But Chevy produced more...

    American Made

How many Chevrolet's from the 70's are still on the road? How many Honda's from the 70's are still on the road? More reliable, more efficient, cheaper. In a word, 'superior'.

Yep. That about sums it up.

    American Made

Price isn't the only factor. Why did people start buying Japanese cars in the 70's and 80's? Because they were all-around superior to their contemporary American counterparts. I love America, but if someone else make a better product, I won't hesitate to send my dollars to a foreign country...

California Court: reasonable jury could conclude Glock design faulty

People put WAY to much importance on manual safeties. Unless I'm at a public range, with some cranky RO breathing down my neck, I don't use one. If you don't want the gun to discharge, don't pull the trigger. As simple as could be. Unless you are prone to epileptic seizures, there is no...

    12ga pistol (scatter gun)

Fixed ...while out of the country on vacation, you forgot to add.:uhoh: After all, on American soil that would constitute manufacture of a Destructive Device.

Have you ever fired a full auto weapon?

Heckler & Koch SP89 with a registered trigger box. Vulcan V53 with the same box. M2 Carbine

is an ar15 an assault rifle

I see your example and raise you this: 'World's Dumbest' had a video of a guy trying to rob a bank with a scoped bolt-action. Yep. They called it an assault rifle. Probably because it had a synthetic stock.

If you were allowed ONE full auto (NFA) weapon what would you chose from this list?

The little guy on my right shoulder wants a RR M16A1. It would be the most practical. The twitching gremlin on my left shoulder wants a Beretta 93R. 'Cause it's cool.

is an ar15 an assault rifle

No. No capacity for full auto or burst fire. Not an assault rifle. BTW, AR comes from ARmalite.

    1927-A1 Semi-auto?

AutoOrdnance offers factory SBR's, so they have the tools and parts to assemble one. You might want to try calling them up and seeing if they will swap out the barrel and 'manufacture' the SBR for you. That way you don't have to mark the gun with your personal info.

Long Gun Registry Ends in Canada

I have quite a bit of time on a lake in rural Ontario. (I won't get any more specific than that.) Off of the top of my head I can think of at least two shotguns and two or three rifles scattered amongst the various cabins. Everyone knows they aren't papered. No one cares. The local RCMP group...

What gun surprised you the most?

<flinches> The IntraTec TEC-9. You hear a lot of bad stuff about this series on forums and such, but if you use factory magazines and round-nose FMJ (like the manual says) it will fire every time you pull the trigger. It's not accurate or ergonomical, but that's besides the point.

    The Akins Accelerator is back!

Whoops. That was bad wording on my part, I should have said 'they' (as in the company) rather then 'you'.
