Dear THR,
If somehow the policy changes and you are allowed to keep one full auto weapon, what would you chose from this list? I have left one option for 'other' in case you would really want something that is not listed. If you chose other than I request you state in heading of your response it name and share with us why you chose it. Well, I request all of you to share why you chose a certain item.

Lets have some fun with this.
Thanks

M16 or at least a diaz. Due to the aftermarket support. (Different uppers/stocks etc)

Glock 18C for CCW.
18 rounds of Glasers punching baseball sized holes in someone at 1200 rpm.

I've always wanted to see what a smg loaded with pre-frags could do to a block of gel.

South African R5 Galil clone:

SLR-R5556mmRifle01.jpg

I chose that because I have already fired it in full auto and I like the rifle in semi mode (which would be how I would use it mainly)

The M16. It can be made into anything from .22lr, 9mm up to 458socom if you wanted.

This is like one of those if you could only have one rifle/pistol polls just amped up . Have a Thompson in the family. Mothers gift to dad on 50th wedding anniversay.

If I was going for utility it would be a m-16 for fun and history It would be a Marlin Colt beltfed.

A very hard choice for me because I like turn of last century guns.

Cheers,

ts

I voted M16 because you can change it into just about anything, but there is something about the Uzi that is just raw awesome. P90 would be a ton of fun too.

Got something against belt-feds? M2 for me, thanks.
.

Absolutely not but he said just one, you could shoot an M16 with a .22 upper on it for a month for what it costs to run through a belt on am M2.

The little guy on my right shoulder wants a RR M16A1. It would be the most practical.

The twitching gremlin on my left shoulder wants a Beretta 93R. 'Cause it's cool.

After the hands-on experience with the MG's in my collection (past and present), if I had to boil it down to just one, I would say the .30 cal. Browning aircooled (M1919A4/A6).

I was just commenting on the lack of belt-feds on the list for the poll. I've got several MGs, I don't actually shoot them that much. When I do I want it to be an event and the fifty does it for me.
