I believe the 380 is a scaled down version of the 9mm, ,the 380 is some times called the 9mm kutz, meaning small(short) in German. When reloading you can you the same bullets in either the 380 or the 9mm. Good luck!

Sorry, but I must be the devils advocate here. I see no better home defense than a short barreled shot gun loaded with 00 buck,and a 9mm loaded with 17 rounds. I don,t see the need for a bullit that's travels3200 per second in the house.

Around here,gunshops will offer you 25-50% of the retail value. Glocks generally are offered $150-175 and that is just sad, because they will not budge from their selling price of $599 for a Gen 4 or $549 for a Gen 3. Used ones at LGS sell as high as new ones in lot of instances.

It would be a Glock 27, 40 s&w. Easy to hide, also can get factory barrels to shoot,9mm and 357 sig, same mags. One gun three rounds,can't beat that. For $500 or so. Add night sites or lasers, ect ect ect.
