for awgrizzly i think what jake1996 was trying to say was, that when surplus ammo can be so cheaply made and the regular ammo .223 is not much cheaper than other rounds in it's class you see, than why not go with something that has better performance? i think that is what he meant? :confused:

whats going to be the best scope under $100 (tight buget sorry) i want something for long range cyoytes at like 4-500yd. and low light conditions. or somthing along those lines. :)

.223 wouldnt be to bad if you want somthing under 300yds. over that go with a 22-250 for around 4-500yards (if you have a good scope)

right if you have the skills and crazy good equipment shoot shoot some elk!!

ive heard that the bolts can be sloppy on the new 70's the old ones are different story however.
