I took the extractor out and cleaned out a lot of gunk and put it back together. I will get to a range hopefully within a month. It was so easy to do. If that doesn't help I will order a new parts and fix it up.
I found this video, in which is described the same issue I am having.
I think I will pull out the extractor and see if it is gunked up. I do run this gun fairly wet and that may have caused some issues.
My CZ 85B has developed an issue failing to extract. It has 1,214 rounds fired through it (yes, I wrote Gun Log so I do know the round count), and has never had any springs changed.
Description:
Fired case has about 1/4" still in the chamber (didn't fully extract or maybe it didn't eject and it...
I have provided some very good apps for our community since June 2011. Well 2020 is causing me to work and focus on my day job. I am sharing the message below.
Apple has a requirement that all apps must support all screen sizes and use other aspects of iOS 13 by June 30, 2020. The Gun Log...
I have an 85, 75 compact, and SP01. All are good and none is remarkably better than the other. Being a BHP person I am very pleased. All of mine are manual safety.
I am not sure what you are saying. I have a few CZ's in the 75 family. The 75 Compact will also use the 18 round mag I use in the SP-01. I think they mean the 75 compact mag will fit flush, but it will take any 75 mag of compact size or greater.
I contacted DW and asked about mags. This is the response:
The DWX line utilizes the following magazines:
Full size DWX uses CZ P-10 magazines.
“compact” DWX uses CZ 75 magazines.
I am thinking that this will be the future for what the Browning Hi-Power held, but better because of the trigger...
I had a gun that was a jam-o-matic. I contacted the manufacturer. They said it had to be broken in. Shoot 500 rounds through it. I said your owners manual says replace the recoil spring (gun was semi-auto) at 500 rounds. I am thinking, "To break it in I have to run it till they say replace...
What exactly are you breaking in?
You need to learn what it will shoot. I have one gun that the mags don’t like 147 gr flat nose lawman. Another Gun of a different brand and mag style shoot it fine.
If it won’t shoot anything reliable then get rid of it. I have had that gun too.
Every gun...
CZ 527. 5.56 is fine in it. CZ told me directly. Mine shoots everything well. 35 gr up to 77. Got pictures to show it. 1:9 twist. Varmint model. Leopold scope

I found the right 9mm for my wife, and I like it too.
My wife carries a S&W J-Frame in .22 Magnum while jogging and such. She has shot my various CZ's and while she shot them ok, she was not able to be consistent while chambering a round. The BHP's have more...
Absolutely. I don’t have any that are never fired. I fire some rarely. They all kind of turn into safe queens as I move on to something else because I never sell.
A common issue when discussing .223 REM and 5.56 NATO is when one is discussing the chamber and when one is discussing the cartridge. I recommend focusing on understanding the chamber first.
