If someone has the time and inclination would you be able to find out if running 2800 fps with a 162 gr Amax in a 7x64 Brenneke in a 26" barrel at 90 F at roughly sea level? Just curious because I have a barrel blank on order and I am deciding what to chamber it in.

Anyone here reloading the .280 rem and just necking down .30-06 cases? Do you find them to short or has it not been a problem?
