    MBO does it again!

I just wanted to let ya'll know that today I received my 1000 ea 125 grain coated 38 bullets from Missouri Bullet Co. five weeks ahead of their projected delivery date. I believe them when they say they are working at their orders as diligently as possible.

    Shooting balloons using 45Colt brass

Let me first describe my objective: I have a Carpenter Bee problem. They are destroying the pine lumber structure in my porch, house siding, and facia. I have hung traps but it catches very few of the pests. I have read, with great interest, all the threads on cowboy balloon shooting. I...

I got the bug, want new optics

Somebody talk me out of it. I just can't stop thinking about it, I think I want an M&P 2.0 with miniature holographic sight. Wife tells me I don't need it, "You've got enough guns!!" she says. Wouldn't it be neat to have a 9mm semi-auto with a Trigicacon tritium sight? Or the red dot , or the...

Hey guys, I am wanting to load some rounds and they aren't listed in my Lyman's or Hornady's books specifically for IMR 4064. I am loading for my Savage 223 Rem, 22 inch barrel. Bullets: 55 Grain, FMJ BT w/CL My Hornady manual lists the 55 gr, FMJ w/BT but not the IMR 4064. Does...

    Loading 223's/5.56's for AR-15

I am interested in loading for my AR-15. I have used about 2 pounds of Benchmark for both my Weatherby 223 and for my AR-15. It is a little pricey and also sometimes difficult to find. I have 8 lbs of IMR 4064 it isn't listed in my Hornady 9th, but in almost all bullet wts in my Lyman 49th. I...

243 WSSM at Midway won't last long!

Hey guys, just wanted to give those interested, a heads up. I got email notice from Midway USA this morning. They have 243 WSSM ammo in at $40 a box of 20. I am sure they won't last long. I didn't order any as I have amassed about 200 cases, which should last me the rest of my life.

Resizing 25 WSSM to 243 WSSM?

As you probably know finding 243 or 25 in WSSM is harder than finding hen's teeth. I have been searching for 243 WSSM brass for some time without success. I was in a pawn shop the other day and they had a box of 25 WSSM's (I didn't even ask how much!) Anyway the thought crossed my mind of...

    Metering IMR 4350

I am loading some 30-06's using IMR 4350. I have read the threads on using the powder measure to do it and the, "it's like trying to grind coffee" posts. I am trying to use the RCBS Uniflo and I can't make myself Power-through lifting the lever to dump the charge. Do I need to worry about my...

Need suggested load for 45 LC

At the risk of getting the classic response, "Buy yourself a good reloading manual," I need a suggested load for my 45 LC. I have loaded hundreds of rounds using 7 gr Unique to push a 250 gr cast flat end round from MBC with great success. I just reloaded my last batch but have 500 ea. cast...

Could someone explain the process of sending reloaded ammo?

I live in North Carolina and my daughter lives in Oklahoma. She has a Ruger LCP I gave to her. I want to send her reloaded 380 ammo. Can I do it legally and if so, what are the ABC's of doing so. I read the thread the fellow posted about shipping 223's. From that I got that you must use a...

    RCBS has done it again

I just can't say enough about how good these folks are. I called today and explained I had a Pro2000 and had broken a part. The gentleman first asked my name and address, then asked, " what did you break sir?" I told him I had broken the Powder Hopper on my Uniflo powder measure. He said is...

    Powder Measure Vibrator

A month or so ago one of our esteemed members suggested adding a aquarium pump to the powder measure to make a cheap vibrator for more consistent measure in each casing. It works and it is cheap. I got this one new at Wally Place for $6.00, taped a small piece of rubber mat to the bottom so as...

cudos to Inline Fab, nice folks to deal with
