Mine would be a .22 J.C. Higgins/Sears Roebuck 103.229 S-L-LR, of which I do not know the exact manufacture date. Just that it was definitely before serial numbers were required on .22s. I got it from my grandfather, very recently. But that is about all the history I have on it, sorry!
