    Ruger LCP with issues

That's all very true but you need to re-read his post, this is a different problem.

    Which Pocket Auto?

They're all good choices. You might see about a Kel-Tec P-32, it would have the lightest recoil of the ones you mentioned due to the .32 and locked breech design. Having said that, 50 rounds at a time is fine for practice even if it can be uncomfortable so you might think about a .380 too.

Makarov Barrel Question - IJ70 380 vs Mak

Numrich has some. Probably some surplus ones available somewhere. http://www.e-gunparts.com/DisplayAd.asp?chrProductSKU=1047440&chrSuperSKU=&MC=

Tell me about the Makarov Pistol....

They are safe to dry fire. No snap cap needed. Not just my opinion but also that of those on the Gunboards Makarov forum. I dry fired my unissued Bulgarian in excess of 2,000 times to loosen up the DA trigger pull with no ill effects. I've got an EG and a .380 commercial Russian as well...

    Commemorative Garands

I'd bet few veterans would buy one. Probably more are bought by a family member of a veteran thinking the veteran would really think it's great. The vet would probably appreciate one from the CMP a lot more.

    Commemorative Garands

I see them advertised frequently in the NRA magazine, "American Rifleman". I think they are mainly bought by those that aren't particularly enamored with them but figure that since there won't be any more made that some fanatic will pay big bucks for one in 5+ years and they'll make a bunch...

If you only watch only one segment of the film - watch the "Trigger Squeeze" segment.

War Dept Film - "Rifle Marksmanship with the M1 Rifle"

I checked the link to make sure it was working properly - it takes you to the website OK. But it seems to take awhile sometimes before the "Click to Play Video" button appears. If you don't see it right away, just wait for a little bit.

Good price for a new LCP?

You heard wrong. KT and Ruger have no agreement. They each manufacture their own pistol. This came up when the LCP first came out - KT has confirmed there is no relationship. One of the KT employees posted on the KTOG forum about his impressons of the LCP when he got to examine one at...

Is the Ruger LCP a rebadged Kel-Tec

Don't know about the LCP but the P-3AT has always had a steel guide rod.

Is the Ruger LCP a rebadged Kel-Tec

All very true, but Ruger didn't. That's why they copied it. The root of the controversy and what I think what galls many folks is that Ruger claims to have started with a "blank piece of paper" in designing it when they obviously didn't. It wouldn't look good for a iconic major...

Is the Ruger LCP a rebadged Kel-Tec

The locked breech design goes back to J. Browing. Any patents on that are long since expired.

Is the Ruger LCP a rebadged Kel-Tec

The definitive answer has already been given and it's still NO.

Know what bugs me about the LCP vs P-3AT?

There is an important difference between the 2 pistols, in the minds of some anyway - When an LCP jams or otherwise doesn't function properly, it's because it's ammo sensitive or needs further break-in / cleaning / lube, etc. When the Kel-Tec P-3AT does the same thing, it's a POS. And not...

    Ruger LCP 380 auto

Ahh Brad, you started out with an honest mistake and then you had to add this part - I've made a few big ones too. ;)

    Hey, look, an LCP Review!

KT recommended not dry firing before they used the buttonhead screw on the 2G models. They recommend not dryfiring due to possibility breaking the firing pin. Many have dry fired plenty of times without ill effects but doing it extensively could possibly damage the pin. I've seen very few...
