    Lone Ranger Vampire Killer Bullets

Whether your killing vampires or werewolves it would be prudent to pack the right weapon for the job or your future may be grim. Zombies on the other hand only require a head shot.

Why Not Emulate Your Favorite Brand?

Sam1911's advice is spot on .To me factorys don't build what I want or I can build better and cheaper. The savings aren't as great as they once were ,but what about squib loads, lead bullet loads, and older caliber ammo not loaded to the levels they're capable of because of liability concerns...

    Remington moving to Huntsville AL

Where I grew up if you lived north of I-10 you were a yankee. but seriously For Remington to stay and pay taxes to a government intent on it's destruction would be like PAYING for the knife for someone to cut your own throat with. I would look for Remington to Get this factory on line...

    First Rifle

He's right the effective range for the .22 round is around 100yds, however thats not neccessarily the shooters effective range. Learn to shoot, don't be a sprayer and prayer.

Since when do we want silencers??? Haha

Anything the government sticks its foot in they screw up I can just imagine a government approved silenced firearm Can you? That said I think they should be pulled from the class2 list and while we're at it let's repeal the NFA and the GCA of 68' also.Silencers are legal in many european...

    First Rifle

SDB, I have no idea what labor rates are in Ca. a FAL specialist with an assortment of shims and the proper headspace gauges can do it in under an hour easily. I really beleive you should get a .22 rifle 1st. go to a range shoot, shoot, shoot. make friends with the other shooters and ask well...

MCgunner I checked out the. buffalobore.com site That's the .45colt I'm refering to when I say .454 casull short . I'm sure glad I reload though because I could buy another real nice S&W mod 25 for what 8 or 9 boxes of these cost!!

    First Rifle

I did a little price checking, Enterprise Arms sells assembled FAL's right there in the Peoples Republic of California for around a grand. In other areas of the country you can find them for $800 or so. After looking at the current costs of the receiver, parts kit, and gunsmithing to...

    First Rifle

FAL's are nice rifles I built 2 , years ago when things were much cheaper. DS Arms were selling unissued STG-58 for around $200 then. To make along story short they're easy to build ,but you 'll need a gunsmith familiar with FAL's to index the barrel and check the headspace. There's a video out...

    SA revolver for camping/woods gun?

I'm in agreement with you about the .45colt only if you reload .The factory loads have been reduced so much{liability issues w/old guns}. But loaded to their potential I call them a .454 casull short.

    Reloading trays?

Most reloading trays are less than $10 . You can buy reloading sets that contain most everything you need to get started in one box, rcbs rockchucker supreme kit,and hornady"s lock and load kit {both around $350} come to mind and i'm sure there are other models too.

Quantity of firearms vs Quality of training & proficiency

I beleive I don't shoot as much as I'd like is because where I live ,the suburbs of Houston. The only ranges near me{within 15miles} are the indoor type 75ft and don't allow magnum handguns or rifles larger than a .22 rimfire{whoopee!!!}. I think a lot of other shooters also live in urban areas...

2 new small game riflesyou need to check out

Loveless, using that logic how can a 30-06 shoot at 2500fps and a .22 long rifle only 1200fps? they're different rifles ,different designs. You should try googling big bore airguns. During the Napoleonic wars the Austrians used airguns against the French quite effectively{back before the French...

That's exactly what I thought , that is squarely in .38special territory even the .25 weighing 27gr at 1000fps is a close equivalant to a .22 shorts 29grain bullet . While they won't take the place of conventional firearms , for situations such as I have{suburban enviorment, large squirrel...

hello fellow texan ' one thing i should point out Luling is a beautiful rural area where people are a lot more forgiving about firearms and noise than they are in the suburbs of Houston where I live. 22cb.s either aquila's , cci's or the ones remington made either make enough noise to get...
