    Bodyguard .380 or LCP?

LCP would be 3rd on my list. S&W Bodyguard 1st choice, then the TCP a very, very close second.

    Sig Sauer P238 Advice?

Just sent another 100 rounds through my Sig P238, and no problems. I've fed it Remington, Winchesters, S&P, and other miscellaneous loads, and no problems whatsoever. Total of about 450 rounds thus far.

    Sig Sauer P238 Advice?

Bought one last month, have taken it to the range several times and have over 300 rounds thought it with no problems. I trust my life with it, and am thinking of buying another.

Sig P238 or Walther PPK or PPK/S

The P238 is a great gun. I know that there were initial issues with the early models, andI just shot 200 rounds (mixed rounds including priv-pFMJ, Remington JHP, Winchester Bonded). Only one FTF but that was ammo issue, as the cap was struck. I loaded back in after 30 seconds, an the round...

    Favorite Holster For SIGP238?????

Please note that with the iTac for the P238, IWB is best accessed LH. Not reversible to RH IWB. Forgot to note that in earlier posting.

    Sig P238: Interesting problem

Good luck with the new, higher powered ammo. Please keep us posted.

Choice for Concealed Carry in .40sw

Sig P239 would be my choice. I like the decocker. A little on the heavy side but comfortable to shoot. Shoots any ammo I've chosen to feed it, from Walmart, to reloads and home defense rounds I've had mine since mid-90's with not a single problem. Still original springs and magazines. Reliable...

    Bodyguard .380 or LCP?

If you're considering only the two, I'd pick the LCP. However, if you decide on the LCP, do take a look at the TCP before you purchase the LCP. TCP is very similar, but has lighter trigger pull, and slide locks back when empty. Between the Bodyguard and LCP, I'd shoot them both at 7 and 15...

Sig P238 or Walther PPK or PPK/S

Looked at both and opted for P238 due to sights and feel. Great gun to have. Have no issues with quality or reliability, but mine has newer serial number series and is thus far recall and issue free. I also own another Sig and Walther so I am partial to both brands.

    Talk me into a TCP...

I own both Taurus TCP and Sig P238 and love them both. Sig shoots better and easier but costs twice as much. Of the $300 range guns in DAO, TCP is very good. Well made (USA) and has lighter trigger pull, 2 mags, bulldog carry pouch and slide lock. I'm into about 500 rounds now with no gun...

What handgun if you were homeless?

Since we are theorizing, I would sell my other handguns, shed a "tear" or two.... Buy a lottery ticket and keep my Walther P22. I'd carry 22 shot shells, hollow points, and some high velocity ammo. Small, accurate, concealable, and versatile. Ammo would be cheap and you can fire with little...

    Favorite Holster For SIGP238?????

Try the iTac belt clip specifically molded for the Sig P238, which can cliped on the outside, as well as worn IWB. Adjustable too. Many places to purchase for between $24 to $35 on line.

    Best pocket pistol

I like the Taurus TCP over the Ruger LCP for the TCP's lighter trigger pull, and just as importantly, that the TCP comes with 2 magazines standard, with carry pouch for about $30 less than the LCP (at time of my purchase). The TCP also felt better constructed to me, and fit better in my...

    Family friend in shoot-out

IMO, Rick did extremely well. Most police officers never have to draw their weapons in the line of duty in their entire career. My first experience with live rounds whizzing past me, was shock and disbelief, then reality hit, and I hit the dirt before firing back from the ground as trained...

    Hearing Damage: .40 S&W vs .44 Special?

The majority of commonly "accepted" self-defense calibers are all going to exceed safe limits. Choose what you can shoot best, over what caliber is going to damage your hearing least. Don't forget to consider the "back-stop" in case you miss, which is more common than not in a high stress...
