Weren't those brought in by PW Arms. If they were call Dan at Dan's ammo and he might know more of the back story on them. He is very tight with PW Arms.
These things are not a matter of opinion so agreeing to disagree would not make sense. You are right I do not know the full extend of your Sig knowledge. I can only go with what I see posted here some of which is incorrect.
Look at this chart...
If you don't know your past then you don't know your future....:banghead:
Your statement here
Makes no sense.... You clearly do not know your Sig history.
This info is also incorrect. The Sig P220 was originally a 9mm single stack handgun. It was designed to replace the Sig P210. IIRC this was around 1975-1976.
The gun was originally imported into the US as the Browning BDA in 9mm. Later came super .38 and 45 ACP.
The US loves us some 45...
For someone whose handle is sigarms228 you seem a bit off on your Sig history. The P229 was introduced as a completely different caliber from anything else ever offered in that caliber from Sig.
On the P226 you are wrong on the facts. The 40 S&W & .357 Sig version of the P226 with a milled...
Get your calipers out and check the frame dimensions.... Rails might work for FrankenSigs but they are not the same pistol. It was not the different look of the P229 slide it was the fact it was milled stainless vs stamped carbon steel and that the P229 was intended for the 40 S&W market and...
This is true. Even the 9mm is dimensionally different. They also have a very different feel in the hand due to the difference in the weight of the slide. The P229 seems top heavy to me.
If you have a good transfer dealer call Wild West Guns in AK ask for Ken. Tell him rellascout sent you from THR.

My local guys pricing is not too bad either. He ships to your FFL for about $25. Ask for Eric.
Not really. You statement leads one to believe you might be able to ship from a UPS Store. It is vague IMO.
I am just clarifying that one should never use a UPS Store or Kinkos for any firearm shipment or ammo shipment. ;)
Why even buy his parts? QC is hit or miss too. I you can get GI cut sights anywhere and you really do not need a smith to install them if you don't have to do any milling.
I would not use Fusion for custom work. Bob Servas shop has a bad rep of being very hit or miss.
There are too many other good shops out there to take a chance.
It is not attached. Grasp it at the base of the spring and pull it off. There will be a slight bit of resistance since the spring has a smaller diameter on that end IIRC. This is the process I use to removed all guide rod springs so I do not stretch them.
I always understood "NL" to be no logo but I know many people call it Non-Ladysmith. LOL
I have no issues with the Lady Smith logo I just never cared for the white grips. If I had found one of those for the same price I would have simply swapped the grips
