Does Anyone Have the 986 Yet?

I picked one up about a month ago on GB. I've put about 600 rounds through it and it is quickly becoming one of my favorite guns to shoot. And this is coming from a 1911 guy.

    10mm club

I just picked this Nighthawk commander sized 10mm yesterday. Put 300 flawless rounds through it today, I think my Glock 29sf will be going up for sale after shooting this. :) I also have a Kimber Eclipse Custom II in 10mm

    Sig Sauer 938 vs. 238

FWIW - I sold my p238 the day I shot a P938. When I bought my P938, I lubed it and put 600 rounds through it without cleaning, it has been 100% reliable.

Do you know how many firearms you own?

I know exactly how many I own. I own one less than I will tomorrow when I buy the used Ruger single ten I saw today at the LGS. :)

    Sig 938

Mine has over 1000 rounds through it, never an issue. After an initial field strip and cleaning, I put over 600 rounds through without cleaning. Ran flawless.

Has anyone bought from Kittery Trading Post (gunbroker auction)

To close this out, please look at my comment in post #6 in this thread. Once I was able to talk to someone, the service was stellar. The gun arrived at my FFL today and ws exactly as described. I'm very happy with the firearm.

Has the P938 not been very popular?

First time I had a chance to shoot a p938, I bought one and sold my p238. Mine has been a great dependable little gun.

Has anyone bought from Kittery Trading Post (gunbroker auction)

I won a bid on a s&w 325pd 5 days ago and have heard nothing back from them after 4 voice mails and 1 email. Just wondering if anyone has done business with them. Here is a link to the auction. http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=355940870

Why I do point shorter guns better than longer ones?

I would agree with this. When I am slowly doing target shooting I do better with a full size 1911, when I am at a steel shoot, I do better with a commander size.

just received an order from precision delta today..

That is good news. I ordered 4k 124gn 9mm and 4k 230gn .45 in late march. Hopefully they will be here soon. I'm not desperate as I have several thousand of each already loaded, but I only have a few hundred 9mm and zero .45 bullets left. I'm good on primers and powder.

    Pack It In?

I try to get to the range twice a week. If I find I am having an off day I will definately pack it in early.

9mm Slight Bulge Fix With Lee FCD

Have you checked specifically which brass is bulging? I had a similar issue and after much analysis I discovered every case that was bulging was CBC brass, and doing so at about a 50% rate. I now sort out the CBC brass and have absolutely no issues with 9mm bulging. I don't have trouble...

    Most rounds without cleaning...

I shoot frequently and really see no reason to clean any more Often than 500+ rounds through a firearm. Of course, I also no longer subscribe to the 3000 mile oil change advice. Using synthetic oil, change once per year and even with track days, analysis shows the oil has not broken down and...

A heartfelt thank you for converting me to reloading

Just a note to say thanks for making me a reloading convert. I still believe time is money and agree with those who don't reload because that is not where they want to spend their time. In fact, that was my reasoning for not reloading. While we may not get paid for our spare time, It has...
