Yeah, my trigger did "smooth out". It went from grinding along until I had it pulled all the way back. Now it "smoothly" bumps along until it touches the frame. I can seriously feel 4 distinct bumps before it finishes traveling all the way back. It's like driving over a series of speed bumps...

I may have. I keep it clean and oil it till it's wet with clp for a couple hours then rub it dry with a towel. Supposedly the clp soaks in. I believe it was a melonite finsh. I want to get it painted w moly professionally but was waiting until after the repairs.
