I wiser man than I once said that a Sig P6 doesn't seem to make sense until you've handled one.

I've had my Buckmark Camper for about a month now, and could NOT be happier. Comparing it to the Ruger Mark III and 22/45, the Buckmark is just as reliable and has a grip that is much more comfortable. You really can't go wrong with one!
Without getting into a caliber debate, shoot what you feel most comfortable with.
Shooters with small hands tend to have difficulty reaching longer triggers, so something with a slim grip and/or a short reach to the trigger would be very beneficial.
