The term boolit is used when talking about a lead cast bullet. Not sure why that is a bad thing. Certainly easier to say than lead cast bullet.:)

I have a Savage Stevens 87D my father passed down to me. The bolt drop after releasing the trigger had me scratching my head until I figured out it was supposed to do that . The barrel says 22 short, long, or long rifle and closer towards the receiver says "only long rifle as automatic".

Yes, I seem to get more data from the Lyman Cast reloading book than the Speer manual. I haven't had a chance to get the Lyman #49 yet, but it seems to get a lot of praise here.
