I would trade my 6 or 7 year old Winchester 94 .44 Magnum with octagon barrel for a chinese/norinko SKS and a used 9mm pistol.
Trying to consolidate my calibers...and I love the SKS! Already have a Yugo.

I think mine is carbine length too. It seems like a very short barrel to me. Although it does not indicate anywhere that it is the trapper model. It also has a safety on it.

It is a Winchester Model 94 Lever Action with an octagon barrel chambered in .44 magnum. The butt of the stock is curved, not flat. It is a beautiful darker wood and has had maybe 200 rounds...
