    Winchester PDX1 12 Gauge

Has anyone used this? Is it worth it for a self defense round. I've looked around and the best price is about $1.30-1.40/rd, is it that much better than a straight 00 buck for self defense?

    Reliant Ammo

Has anyone used Reliant Ammo: http://www.reliantammo.com/ammunition.aspx Their prices seem quite good and they offer a guarantee against rounds that don't fire.

Will Henry Big Boy .357 shoot .38 special

I'm thinking of getting a Henry Big Boy chambered in .357 and I was wondering if it would take .38 special as well. I know most .357 revolvers will shoot .38, but I don't know if the feed mechanism in the Henry will handle it.

A Great Collection of RKBA quotes

http://www.languageofliberty.com/q_rightsofman_to_bear_arms.htm A Selection: The tank, the B-52, the fighter-bomber, the state controlled police and the military are the weapons of dictatorship. The rifle is the weapon of democracy. Not for nothing was the revolver called an 'equalizer.'...

    n+1 capacity

This is a newbie question, but when you see semi-auto handguns the capacity is always listed as 10+1 or 17+1, etc... But while this is a theoretical capacity it's pretty much a pain-in-the-ass, isn't it? Is there any way to get the extra round in the chamber other than loading a full magazine...

Recommendation Wanted: Cleaning Kit or buy individual

I am a new shooter still waiting for my permit, but once I get the permit I expect to have minimally a .22, 9mm and .357 (maybe .44 Mag) plus a shotgun. Do you think I should buy individual brushes, rods. mops, etc... or just buy a nice comprehensive kit like this one: Outers Universal...

    First Guns

My wife and I have recently decided to get into shooting. We've been talking about it for 10+ years, but have been deterred by NY states permit laws, but have finally decided to take the plunge. One of the strangest parts of the very byzantine NY (Westchester specifically) is that you are...
