I received a Remington r15 from the wife for Christmas, and regardless of what some say, it shoots fabulous. Its the vtr carbine. Using fiochi 40 grain ballistic tips, it's shooting 1/2 moa at 100 yards. Good luck with whatever you choose. 1 less coyote means more deer and turkeys will see fall!

Those are actually 2 of the 3 I am considering (western rivers being the third ). Have heard issues on volume control and remote range as the most frequent complaints, and hoping someone has use experience? Thanks.

After many observations I finally decided to join. This seems to be, by far, the most useful, and respectful of any forum of its type. I look forward to gaining knowledge, sharing a little that I've learned, and joining having access to an endless database of like minded sportsmen.

Looking for input and advice on electronic callers. I mostly hunt coyote and bobcat, at ranges from 100 to 400 yards. Ready to move up to something in the $200 to $400 range, just want to make a well advised purchase.

I've had both, but I actually stuck with the .308, mostly due to a wider, and more readily available selection of bullets. Both great cartridges though.

morebullets Tried the S&W route, no luck, (uninformative). It's actually the predator model in .308. I just hope TC sticks around and maintains quality, I've been very happy with their products, just have concerns with S&W's customer service.

I know tca is now owned by Smith and Wesson, but had anyone heard if they are discontinuing some of Thompson's products. Due to the venture recall, I've had one on order for quite some time, and actually considered canceling it. Any ideas?
