Thank you. Fair enough. I knew it didn't have to be written, but I agree that it is a good idea to have it on record.
This is how it works at my church. Anyone carrying must have a current CWP on record in the church office.And Pastor makes the decision on who carries under those conditions. Of...
Has anyone here actually fired the new Taurus Spectrum. Has anyone even seen a video of one being fired?
They look a little funky with the colors, but for $300 or less I may take a look.
Depends on how you define "gun friendly". Most of the gun stores in my area prohibit carrying while in the store. Would you consider these gun stores to not be gun friendly?
Turns out that the kid used a .45 that his Father gave him in April for his 21st birthday. Oh boy, that will go over big with the anti gunners. Get ready for another round of gun ban hysteria.
Don't know why he stopped. I just assume that he had shot everyone in the room with the exception of the one lady he spared so that she could "tell what happened here". Guess he had no more targets.
I grew up in Charleston and live only 90 minutes away now. I have a son living in Charleston. So, this tragedy is especially difficult for me.
S.C. law requires the permission of leadership of the church. I carry every Sunday and any other day of the week I may be on church property. It's not...
Yep, concealed carry is what I plan for the SR1911. I just ran across a great review by Jeff Quinn at Gunblast. Guess I need to go ahead and plan for the inevitable - I have to have one. ;)
You need to take your Shield to a gunsmith if you have difficulty racking the slide. There is something not right either with the gun or your method of racking a slide.
Have the XS Big Dots on both my Shield and P380. Had them on a G26 also.
My vision is such that it is difficult for me to bring the front sight into focus. With that big white dot sitting up there I do quite well at SD distances (7-10 yds) and that is all I am concerned with.
They may not...
When carrying OWB I switch off between my M&P Shield 9mm in a CompTac paddle and my CZ Rami BD 9mm in a TT Gunleather Hi-Rise pancake. For pocket I carry a Kahr P380 in a DeSantis Nemesis.
Carry percentage is probably like:
P380 = 60%
Shield = 10%
CZ = 30%
BTW Nomi Wasp, what the heck...
I have the XS Big Dots on my Glock 26, M&P Shield and Kahr P380. They work well for me. My eyes are just not up to getting a clear picture of the front sight with most factory sights.
At the 7 to 15 yard range my accuracy actually improved with the Big Dots, especially in low light...
I just bought a Rami 9mm and like it a lot. Has an aluminum frame so is a little heavier than polymer, but that seems to help lessen the recoil. Also, the de-cocker feature actually holds the hammer at about a little more than a 1/4 cock position. For me this helps mediate that transition...
I have bought several guns, ammo, holsters, grips, etc., etc. online and never had an issue. Without further input from the OP this thread is accomplishing nothing.
Not my call, but maybe time to lock it.
Hi guys -- Can anyone tell me when the Rami BD (Decocker) version was first manufactured? I asked Davidson's why they don't list this model and they say that they quite offering it in 2009. I didn't realize it has been around that long.
Thanks
