Dan Wesson .44 Magnum - SA trigger WAY too light

Well, I got the springs - replaced them... same single action trigger result - goes off if you brush your finger over it. It looked like the top of the trigger had been "worked"/polished. Could I rough this area up w/ a file and effectively make the SA trigger pull heavier?

It doesn't appear Wolff makes springs for the large frame Dan Wesson revolvers. Just called cz-usa they'll ship tomorrow, thanks PotatoJudge

Dan Wesson .44 Magnum - SA trigger WAY too light

Is there a relatively easy way to make the SA trigger pull a little heavier? It breaks far too soon after applying pressure, borderline scary. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the replies - next question: What do I use for a tank for the water when I boil the parts? The barreled action is kind of long, any recommendations there?

Rust bluing and the inside of the barrel

I plan on rust-bluing my barreled action and am wondering if I need to worry about the inside of the barrel. Most things I've read on the 'net don't seem to address it. Also, what about the inside of the reciever? Treat it and let it rust and finish it just like the outside? Thanks

    Another "Know your buyer" story.

PA requires that all handgun transactions take place at an FFL. Long gun transactions can be done FTF without an FFL. At least that's how I know the law.

    Forend/arm thickness

I have a semi-inletted stock that I've got inletted for my Mauser action, but now I need to finish the rest... How thick is a "normal" gunstock's forend? Mine seems VERY thick (1.75") at the tip. Are there any good sites w/ patterns or schematics for basic/generic rifle stocks? Is there any...

    Piller Bedding Question

Rather than make another thread... I read on Steve Wagner's site to use galvanized or black pipe for the pillar; but, I'm having trouble finding it in 1/8in IPS. The only thing I've found is brass... probably not the best material - right? Would it be too soft? This is for a Mauser action...

I've got the same stuff... Testors makes it. It's usually near the model cars.
