Sometimes we just don't have good reasons

Comrade doesn't believe inferiority of capitalist cartridges to glorious peoples' ammo? Will send nice men from KGB to adjust comrade's attitude! (sorry, couldn't resist)

    .30-30 125 gr

That's a pretty kick-butt load! Pricy too, though. I'll pick some up if I run across them.

    My 'Vietnam' AR15

Man, I wish you guys wouldn't post pics of stuff I didn't know I couldn't live without! Just a quick search, model1 doesn't have triangle handguards in stock. Does anybody else have parts to build one?

    New Rifle in 260 Remington

I wish the .260 rem. would hurry up and take off already. That or a .25-08 of some sort. Just not enough guns or ammo available for .260. Seems like a big gap for short actions between .243 and 7-08 nowadays. Edit: None wssm or some such, lol

Impulse buy - M77 Mark II picture added

I just picked up an M77mkII yesterday! Mine's a compact in .243, wood and blued, might as well be new. Weighs practically nothing. I gave 500 for it, only problem was no rings (no sights either, of course). Hoping it shoots good enough for deer hunting next year, hehe. Trigger on mine's about...

    .30-30 125 gr

125 gr. 30-30 This thread got me thinking. I've got 2 grandkids old enough for deer hunting, was thinking about a .243 youth model of some sort, but they can't/won't share 1 gun! Maybe make the ole Winchester into a youth gun with 125gr bullets? Sound good to me!

    Lee Dies

Do you dislike the round cases with the slot for a powder measure, or the square box "RGB" type boxes?

    Picked up a Winchester 94

Really good deal if you asked me. A pre-64 winchester for less than most sks's nowadays!

    CCI Quiet .22 LR

Well, I got a brick of them on the way. Seems like 22's are getting a little easier to get online, at least.

    remington model 783?

I've got a 783 in 308. Picked it up really cheap second hand. It won't feed or chamber rounds properly. You can point the barrel down, aim for the chamber very carefully and drop a round into it, close the bolt and it shoots fine. I haven't messed with it much and it might just be a bad...

One Gun Man - what's he (she) carry?

Only 1 vote for the sks? I gotta chime in and make that 2.

Please give me some advice; Remington 710

I got a Rem. 770 in 308 pretty cheap, and it won't feed reliably. I haven't messed with it after 1 range trip, maybe just a bad mag. You might pick up a box of factory ammo and try that before you buy dies you might not use.

    M1A or AR-10 ?

I didn't see any votes for "all of the above", but sounds like some of you guys would qualify there.

    pulling 7.62x54R FMJ bullets

I'd never thought about this before. All 3 of my Mosins slugged .312, but they shoot fine with surplus and PPU commercial softpoints. I bought .312 bullets for reloading but haven't gotten around to it. I wouldn't hesitate to pull fmj's to replace with SP's of the same wieght and seated to the...
